Drum&Bassのミュージカル・サイドを代表するレーベル〈Good Looking Records〉の専属アーティストとして98年にデビュー以来、ソウル、ジャズ感覚溢れる感動的な楽曲を次々に生み出し、これまでに、２枚のアーティス トアルバム 『Human Elements』(2003年)、『Believe In My Soul』(2007年）、その他Innerground,Creative Source,Bingo,Hospital,CIA,Liquid VなどのUK主要Drum&Bassレーベルより、12インチシングル、EP、リミックス、コンピレーションへの参加などで数々の楽曲を発表して いる。DJとしては、1stアルバムを発表 後、これまでに世界３０カ国、１００都市以上を周り、数千、数万のクラウドを歓喜させ、その実力を余すところな く証明し続けている。まさに日本を代表し、世界的にもDrum&Bassの トップDJ/Producerである。

Based in Tokyo, Makoto Shimizu, better known as simply Makoto, is Japan’s chief Drum & Bass ambassador. After completing an Acoustic Engineering major at Nippon University, Makoto first signed with LTJ Bukem’s legendary Good Looking Records back in 1999.Since then he has gone from strength to strength, releasing a long string of quality music in the form of singles and EP’s, but also on the famous ‘Earth’ and ‘Progression Sessions’ compilation albums. 2003 saw the release of his much anticipated debut album ‘Human Elements’this album was widely praised as the transition of 70’s Soul into the 21st century. also “Progression Sessions Japan Live 2003″ with Deeizm, recorded live from Space Lab Yellow in Tokyo was an absolute gem.Makoto is now ready to spread his wings. With both remixes and original music already out or set for release on labels such as Innerground, Creative Source, Hospital, Liquid V and Bingo as well as a second album ‘Believe In My Soul’ has been released on Good Looking in 2007, the future is looking bright for the Tokyo native.As for deejaying, Makoto, together with Deeizm MC has travelled across the world (the U.K., Europe, America, Brazil, Australia, Asia and Japan are just some of the places they have visited) and has become one of the most sought-after deejays on the Drum&Bass circuit.Makoto’s sets are characterised by the same jazzed-out and soulful music that he is known for as a producer.

野崎良太（JAZZTRONIK)

Jazztronikとは野崎良太が率いる特定のメンバーを持たない自由なミュージック・プロジェクト。2003年6月徳間ジャパン・コミュニケーションズからメジャー・デビュー。2006年夏Knife Edgeレーベル＜Pony Canyon＞に移籍。 2007になってからは2枚のプロジェクト・アルバム「Love Tribe」,「Beauty-Flow」、フル・アルバム「Grand Blue」、野崎良太名義ではピアノ・ソロ・アルバム「Life Syncopation」リリース。ロンドンのDefectedレーベルの大ヒットMix CDシリーズ「In The House」にも日本人アーティストとして初参加。活動10周年を迎えた2008年、7/16企画ミニ・アルバム「Repro」、12/17 フル・アルバム「JTK」(フィーチャリング・アーティスト：小泉 今日子、JUJU、武田真治他)がリリースされた。2009年になってもその活動はとどまる事を知らない。2/18に初の2枚組外仕事集「Jazztronik Works」、そして3/18に現在開催している２つのレギュラー・ パーティー「Lovet Tribe」、「Jazztronica !!」をまとめたMix CD「Lovetronica !!」がリリースされ、2009年9月16日、2年半ぶりに野崎良太名義でピアノ・ソロ・アルバム「bird of passage」がリリースされた（彫刻の森美術館テーマ・ソング”bird of passageを収録）。

サウンド・プロデューサー、リミキサー、ミュージシャンとしても数多のアーティストとコラボレーションを重ねてきている。葉加瀬太郎、Mondo Grosso, m-flo, TRF, クリスタル・ケイ、ゴスペラーズ , 山崎まさよし、布袋寅泰、琉球DISCO、椎名林檎、Coming Century等 ・・・例を挙げると枚挙に暇がない。近年は「未来講師めぐる」＜テレビ朝日＞、「Real Clothes」、＜関西テレビ・CX系ネット＞「Love Game」＜日本テレビ＞といったドラマ音楽も手がけ活動の幅をさらに広げている。DJとしてもクラブイベント”Jazztronica!!”@渋谷 The Room(奇数月)、 ”Love Tribe”@代官山 AIR w/社長 (SOIL＆”PIMP”SESSIONS)(偶数月) を主催し活況を呈している。
海外では12inch Single「Dance with me 12inch version/SAMURAI」がDanny Krivit,Louie Vega等の多くのトップDJに支持を受け、Chez musicより12inch Single「SAMURAI-侍」がアメリカ及びヨーロッパ各地でリリースされスマッシュ・ヒット。最近では「Real Clothes」がクラブ・チャートを席巻。 London Jazz Cafe、マンチェスター、NY、パリ、エジンバラ、ローマ、スロバキア、クロアチア、アイルランド、韓国等でライブ、DJ、そしてSouthport Weekender等のフェスにも参加し大好評を得ている。今 後も日本国内はもとよりワールド・ワイドの活躍が期待されてならない。

Jazztronik Is The Name Of Ryota Nozaki’s Project Where He Keeps A Free Style In Making Music With Different Musicians And Singers. From The Year Of 1998,He Has Released 2 Full Albums And 2 Mini Albums Fromthe Indies Label Flower Records. In The Year 2001, He Released Another Full Album “Inner Flight” From The British Label “Counterpoint”. As A Producer, He Has Also Written And Arranged Songs For Mondo Grosso, Taro Hakase, Bebe, Sandii, Miho Karasawa, Gospellers, And More. He Has Also Remixed Songs For Artists Including Bird, M-Flo, Modaji, London Elektricity(A.K.A.Izit), Yukihiro Fukutomi, Mika Nakashima. In The Year Of 2003, After Releasing His Full Album “Set Free” In April From Flower Records, He Released Another Mini Album, “Horizon”, In June. And In July, He Did A Solo Concert At Shibuya Quattro And Shinsaibashi -Quattro And Shinsaibashi Quattro With A Total Of 14 Musicians, Showing Off His Music Sense To The Full Extent. Especial Distribution Releases The 12 Inch Single, Dance With Me 12Inch Version / Samurai. Samurai Was Heavily Played By Many Top Djs. And Subsequently Samurai Was Licensed To Chez Music Who Released It As A 12 Inch Single And Was Released In The Us And Europe. In Feb 2004, “Nanairo” Was Released. Their Superior Sensibility Included In This Album Has Been Greatly Praised Throughout In Many Directions. In Nov 2004, “Madrugada/Tigereyes” Was Release. In Sep 2005,Album “Cannibal Rock” Was Released.Many Great Musicians Such As Flora Purim,Rob Gallagher,Sonia Santana,Miki Imai,Etc..Have Joined In It. In Dec 2005,Album “En:Code” Was Released.Marcos Valle,Just One,Yoshihiro Hanno,Everton Nelson,Rob Gallagher,Taro Hakase,Etc..Have Joined In It.
