Makoto & Kez YM ”Chameleon” on 180 gram Vinyl ! cat MUKAT 017

A new release from Makoto, This time is different from what he does usually. He teams up with house producer Kez Ym to come up with a version of the Headhunters classic Chameleon. Selecting their favourite elements of this jazz funk gem and assisted by the rhodes of Takumi Kaneko (Cro Magnon) they produce a respectable version that has already found favour of the DJ boxes of Gilles Peterson,Jazzanova,Kyoto Jazz Massive and Simbad. On the flipside GUYNAMUKAT (the production du of Guynamite & Nik Weston)deliver a slightly more boogie fied styles in instrumental and vocal versions (the latter ably assisted by Shea Soul).
