berlin

先週は、ドイツの首都ベルリンに初めて行って来ました。ドイツには、もうかれこれ３０回以上は行ってると思うんですけど、なぜかベルリンには行った事がなく、今回が初！。歴史的にもすごく興味深い街だし、今はいろいろな国からいろいろなアーティストが集まって来ていると聞いていたので、１日という短い滞在期間でしたが十分にその雰囲気は体験できました。

まず、最初にとても興味深かったのはベルリンの壁の残り部分、ベルリンという街は２０年まで。東西で分断させていて、民主主義の西ドイツと社会主義の東ドイツそのふたつの国が数枚の壁と川だけで分断されていたという事です。いまとなっては全然想像もつきませんが、その歴史的な壁の残り部分を見れた事がとても興味深かったです。今その壁はアートギャラリーになっていて個性的な絵がたくさん書かれていました。街全体をみわたしても、ビルの壁や電車に絵が描かれていたり、川の真ん中にモミュメントが建てられていたりと、どこをみてもアーティステックな街でした。久々に刺激的な街に出会いました。

今回、PLAYしたのはICONというクラブで、もう１３年間毎週土曜日ドラムンベースのイベントをやっているそうです！お客さんの感じも普段のドイツとは違って、プレイしていてかなり楽しかったです。というかお客さんがDNB分かってる感じ。

Last week, I have been to Berlin, Germany. I think I have been to Germany more than 30times, but never been to Berlin. so it was first time ever and I was really excited about it. The city was what I was expecting, I loved the city which is really cool and artistic. other side of the city, I was thinking I’ve got to see the “Berlin Wall”, It was really really interesting…….It let me think what is the war and how they divided a city into two and actually the people was living there were with completely different economic system etc etc….I can’t really imagine what it really was like, especially east side of Berlin as the promoter told me bit of the history of it….

Played at Icon club, the party called “Recycle” which is running for 13years, the party was wicked, went down very well with cool people as you see on the video below !

そして帰る前に、ドイツといえばビールとソーセージ！
