Release Date : 2011-02-14
HE:Digital’s new EP series “HE:Jam”. The tracks will be featured on the EP will be soulful music from around the world.
Random Movement – Hotter Measures: Random Movement has firmly established himself as one of the finest producers to come out of the USA. With an outstanding album having just been released on DJ Marky’s Innerground Records, Makoto was quick to cue up the sublime “Hotter Measures” for release on HE:Digital. The track has a deep subtle flavour, peppered by piano stabs, horns and rolling drums which sit on top of some minimal snarly bass lines and futuristic beeps. A tight track all round and a truly excellent tune by Random Movement.
Paul SG & Calculon – Hear Thru Me: Vienna based Paul SG has teamed up with the head of Rubik Records from America for this deep atmospheric roller. Paul SG’s trademark, crisp amen breaks sit underneath some seriously soulful solina strings and cosmic synths to deliver a tune that’s designed to take you on a journey to the stars and back.
Flaco & Glen E Ston – Crescent: Another exciting producer to come out of the USA, Flaco has teamed up with Glen E Stone for this deep, driving piece of liquid goodness. With sounds plucked straight from the golden era of atmospheric drum and bass which are then paired with modern rolling beats, this tune ticks all the boxes; moody, yet soulful and deep with a guarantee to get your feet moving.
